Fancy an itinerant hike at your own pace, to take the time to meet the locals and immerse yourself in their culture? We take you to a region still preserved from tourism, to meet the Berber tribes of the South and the central Atlas.
Through ridges, gorges, valleys and summits, we travel through the most spectacular regions of the Atlas, with a great variety of landscapes where it reaches its greatest dimension, both in space and in majesty of its landscapes. Contrasts and varieties, these are the constants of the central Atlas, which we discover while traveling through the Aït Abdi plateau, the gorges of the Melloul assif, that of Akka N’Taghia, the summit of the High Atlas. Between the summits and the arid and austere plateaus, rich and green valleys thrive with fields irrigated by springs. The Aït Addidou and the Aït Morrhad share the highlands of the Imilchil region, towards Izourar; the women of the nomadic Aït Atta tribe dress in red and black, while those of the rich Bougmez valley dress in white. A superb and sporty route which will make you discover.
